Quick 2 Ingredient Low-Sugar Candied Walnuts

These are our most classic candied walnuts that we use for our Shaved Brussels Salad, Healthy Chia Pudding, and snacking! They are super quick and low-sugar, gluten-free and vegan. Try this recipe with all sort of nuts, as well!

Ingredients

½ lb walnuts

¼ cup Just Date Syrup

Optional 1 tsp of Aleppo pepper

Toast walnuts in a dry pan, and add date syrup once lightly browned. Stir frequently over low-medium heat without letting the syrup burn. Remove from heat immediately once toasted walnuts are coated in syrup. Add Aleppo pepper if using.
