You deserve to enjoy natural sweetness without worrying about the effects on your body.
We believe nature knows what she’s doing. That’s why we let her luscious, wholesome, organic dates do all the
talking.
Science-Driven Nutrition
We adhere to three key nutrition principles when developing our products:
ORGANIC
O1
We make sure that our products are natural in every way possible. No chemicals, additives or preservatives are ever needed, just the goodness of whole fruits. We like to know exactly what we’re putting in our bodies and we want that for our customers too.
NUTRIENT-DENSE
O2
Our products are packed with vitamins and minerals from potassium and magnesium to phosphorus, iron and zinc.
Potassium
Why is potassium important? It helps maintain fluid and electrolyte balance in the body, helps keep you hydrated, and is required for the function of the cell membranes in your body. Low potassium may lead to dehydration, muscle cramping, swelling, and heart palpitations. Just one serving of date syrup offers 4% of your daily value of potassium. A tablespoon of Just Date Syrup carries the same potassium quantity as 1/3rd of a banana!
Magnesium
Magnesium regulates calcium, sodium, and potassium, and is essential for cellular health. In fact, magnesium is a crucial component of many biochemical functions in the body. Deficiency can lead to sleep deterioration, anxiety, muscle cramping, muscle pain, fatigue, and more.
Antioxidants
Antioxidants counteract free radicals by stabilizing them, combating oxidative stress that leads to many of the chronic illnesses we see today. Our products are naturally loaded with antioxidants, at levels similar to maca or raspberries.
Fiber
Fiber is the great stabilizer of blood sugar, and is the reason sugar in whole fruits does not behave in the same way as a free sugar. The natural sugars in whole fruits are paired with fiber, slowing the absorption of blood sugar down, and helping you avoid a spike and crash in blood sugar - the culprit of both acute problems like fatigue and brain fog, and of chronic problems like diabetes and heart disease. Refined carbohydrates and refined sugars lack fiber. Fiber is incredibly important for your gut microbiome as well, feeding healthy gut bacteria, and your gut microbiome is now shown to be linked to many aspects of our health: gut health, weight, and even mental health. Our date sugar has a whopping 48 grams of fiber per cup. Imagine swapping a cup of sugar in a cake (0g of fiber) for a cup of date sugar!
LOW GLYCEMIC INDEX
O3
The glycemic index (GI) measures how rapidly carbohydrates are digested and metabolized. Lower GI carbohydrates (like dates) produce a slower, sustained increase in blood glucose.

Did you know...?
Dates are a drought resistant crop, grown in desert environments. And we use only organic upcycled dates (meaning they’re the ugly ones that wouldn’t get sold whole!)
