Whole Fruit Popsicles with a Kick from Peepal People
Just Date and Peepal People are a frozen dessert match made in heaven. We’ve created three distinct and delicious popsicle combinations to impress the most picky foodie and delight adventurous children! The best part is that the pleasure these deliver on a late summer day is perfectly balanced with how good these are for you. These are packed with whole fruit nutrients, date syrup with magnesium, potassium, and antioxidants, and gut-healthy fermented hot sauce lovingly made with fresh and nutrient-dense ingredients.
Spicy Watermelon Cucumber Shrub Popscicle: This first one is a love letter to shrubs; the tangy fruity, and slightly vinegary summer drink loved by folks in the American south, who arguably know best how to survive a heatwave. If you haven’t tried watermelon with cucumber, you’re missing out on this delicious cooling combination. Watermelon popsicles have a reputation for flaking so many people add pectin but the date syrup acts as a binder and sweetener in one.
Spicy Turmeric Latte popsicles: These gems are packed with nutrients and taste like a frozen turmeric latte. They are spiced and spicy! Blueberries are optional but provide a fun frozen nugget to chomp on and add even more superfood power!
Spicy Mango Sorbet Popsicles: These are sweet and creamy without any cream like a fresh mango sorbet because that’s pretty much what they are! The cantaloupe can be subbed for more mango but we liked the added depth of flavor with the two combined. The bursting sweet flavor hits you first and the Haunted House sauce lingers on your tongue in a satisfying way.
